This work is the first of a trilogy, involving fantastic characters, from vampires to vigilantes, from ghosts to human beings. In this episode, set in the Renaissance period, a young Monsignor, Sergio Porta, betraying faith and the Church for the love of a creature of the night, is transformed. A new life begins for him, which will see him slip away among the most ancestral mysteries of darkness. The vicissitudes of man are not narrated, therefore, but those of the vampire, who soon discovers that he has become such not by chance but by the will of a supernatural entity, which conditions his existence, hidden in his own soul. Political plots in the Medici Florence, the Inquisition, the love for Simonetta Vespucci (Botticelli's Venus) and a very ancient order of Princes of Darkness from the Enochian period, enveloped its existence until the end when all fatal choices determined the epilogue: freedom or death.
